APPLE PARTY A PARTY FOR ALL THINGS APPLE
The transition to winter brings colder weather and less hours of daylight, both of which can make my heart drop. Though I don’t look forward to the weather and darker days of winter, I can fully support the seasonal flavors! While fall caters to all things pumpkin, winter brings flavors like apple, cinnamon, peppermint, praline, and gingerbread. (If you don’t believe me, the Starbucks menu always keeps up with what is in season!) To celebrate the season (and being inspired by last year’s pumpkin party), my good friend Taylor and I decided to host an apple party!
The apple party followed one rule (or really a philosophy): all things apple. This meant people coming to the party could bring anything and everything as long as it stuck to the apple theme. Anything was fair game: from sweet baked pies or cakes, to savory meats and breads. We set the date, opened the invitation to anyone, and dedicated one night to enjoying the most appley eats.

At this point, I know that I love a good themed food party. Hosting both the pumpkin party and apple party have been such a treat! I want to continue the tradition in the spring so I’m starting to brainstorm theme ideas… right now I am leaning towards citrus or chocolate, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know!
