Celebrations
I try to celebrate everything I can: birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, graduations. Then in between, there are the welcome surprises: the unexpected bonus or promotion; a dear friend's engagement; good news in any one of its forms. With these posts, I hope to honor every cause for celebration that comes my way, and to inspire others to do the same.

Apple Party
The apple party followed one rule (or really a philosophy):all things apple. This meant people coming to the party could bring anything and everything as long as it stuck to the apple theme. Anything was fair game: from sweet baked pies or cakes, to savory meats and breads. We set the date, opened the invitation to anyone, and dedicated one night to enjoying the most appley eats.
