My recent trip to Tennessee was a packed trip to Nashille, Knoxville, and the Smoky Mountains!
My goal is to share how to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle using fun and simple strategies. This includes the topics of celebrations, favorites, reflections, and travel. I focus on using available resources to make the most of my time and appreciate what is valuable to me.
As the semester ended, I made a list of things I wanted to do when classes were over. I was craving sleeping in my hammock, looking at the stars, and sitting by a crackling bonfire. So in the spirit of taking advantage of opportunities, having a weekday campout was the perfect way to kick-off summer!
We went to San Diego and I ran my first destination half marathon!
Does anyone else love iced coffee?! Alan and I wanted to know which fast food restaurant had the best iced coffee so we we had our own Iced Coffee Challenge! Every week we went and got iced coffee from one of the local fast food restaurants (the ones that had it as an option) and we put it to the test! We ranked them all and included our thoughts, which you’ll find in the post!
A personal retreat day is a day where the main focus is rest — for the emotions, mind, body, heart, and soul. Schedules are set aside, meetings are canceled, and work is meant to cease.
We realized there’s never really going to be a convenient time to go on big adventures, so we planned a quick trip to Smoky Mountain National Park!
