This protein parfait is packed with protein and topped with ingredients to satisfy your hunger and sweet tooth. Keep reading to see how you can elevate your greek yogurt snack game!
You’ll notice that several of my recipes lately have been about protein. There are so many benefits of protein for women, but it’s sometimes difficult to consume the appropriate amounts! I usually make my protein power oats for breakfast and that keeps me full all the way until lunch. I make an effort to eat at least one protein source for lunch as well, but usually need something to keep me satisfied during the long stretch from lunch to dinner, which is where this snack comes in!
WHY THIS RECIPE?
It almost feels silly writing this process down because it’s so easy, but I guarantee this will take your greek yogurt game to the next level. There’s something about frozen treats that gets me. All you need is a cup of greek yogurt (something packed with protein), fruit, cool whip, and sprinkles. Let’s get to it!
The ingredients for this recipe are things I always have in stock. The staple is the yogurt cup — I prefer greek yogurt for extra protein but you could use whatever you like best! Other items are frozen berries, granola, cool whip, and sprinkles.
Once you choose your yogurt cup, mix in berries. The most important part of this is sticking it in the freezer for about 20 minutes! After that, add cool whip, granola, sprinkles, and enjoy!
The beauty of this protein frozen yogurt parfait recipe is that you can use what you love! You have the freedom to choose your favorite yogurt, fruits, and toppings to make this a snack you enjoy. Use whatever you have on hand to make this treat. Let me know your favorite combinations!
