15-Minute Honey Garlic Chicken

This easy honey garlic chicken recipe is ready in just 15 minutes. This recipe is so easy to throw together, and the sweet and tangy goodness will set you up with flavor for days.

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup corn starch

Sauce Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • salt & pepper

Serve With:

  • rice, sesame seeds, green onion


  • Add all of the sauce ingredients to a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  • Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes. Place in a large bowl and set aside.
  • Add cornstarch to the large bowl of chicken. Mix until all of the chicken is coated in cornstarch.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil to cover the skillet. Once the oil is covering the pan, add the chicken. Cook for about 10 minutes or until chicken is 165 degrees internally.
  • Add the sauce mixture to the skillet and stir. After 30 seconds, turn the heat to low so that the chicken and sauce can simmer together for about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • Remove chicken from the pan. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
  • To portion, divide into 6ths; for a more exact portion measurement, divide total food weight (not including dish) by 6.
  • Serve over rice.

  • To make vegetarian: Use tofu instead of chicken
