- 1 lb turkey breakfast sausage (16 oz)
- 1.5 cup egg whites (368 grams)
- 1.5 cup nonfat cottage cheese (342 grams)
- 4 cups hash browns (12 oz)
- ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded (56 grams)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- optional if you want a kick: ¼ teaspoon cayenne
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with cooking grease. Evenly distribute the hashbrowns into the casserole dish. Set aside.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown turkey sausage and drain excess grease from skillet.
Add the cooked turkey sausage on top of the hashbrowns.
In a blender, add egg whites, cottage cheese, and seasonings. Blend until creamy.
Pour the egg mixture into casserole dish. Use a spoon to spread evenly.
Sprinkle cheese as the top layer.
Bake at 375 for 40 mins.
