Crockpot Honey Mustard Chicken

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 5 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breast in the crockpot.
  • Add honey, dijon mustard, garlic, worcestershire sauce, chicken broth, salt, pepper, and cayenne to a small bowl. Mix well.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken breast. Cook on high for 2-3 hours (low 4-5 hours) or until the chicken is cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
  • Take the chicken out of the crock pot and shred. Add the chicken back into the crockpot. Stir.
  • Optional: Serve with rice and a vegetable, or on sandwich rolls with slaw.
