Freezer Breakfast Sandwiches

These delicious freezer breakfast sandwiches will satisfy your cravings all week straight from your freezer! Grab everything you need and make these scrumptious sandwiches for your next meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 12 English muffins
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese or your favorite cheese
  • 12 servings meat canadian bacon, ham, turkey, sausage patties, cooked bacon)
  • 12 eggs
  • 3 tablespoon milk
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients for this recipe and preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  • Add eggs, milk, salt, and pepper to a bowl. Whisk well.
  • Generously grease a rimmed baking sheet. Pour the egg mixture onto the baking sheet. Bake at 325 for about 20 minutes. Take out of the oven and let cool.
  • Take out of the oven and let cool. Once cool, cut the eggs into 12 squares.
  • Make an assembly line for the breakfast sandwiches. Start by cutting the English muffins in half. Place an egg square on one of the halves.
  • Add meat on top of the egg square.
  • Place a slice of cheese on top.
  • Add the other half of the English muffin.
  • Wrap each sandwich individually in tin foil or parchment paper. Place the wrapped muffins in a sealed reusable bag and place in the freezer.
  • To reheat the frozen breakfast sandwiches:
    In Microwave: Thaw in the fridge overnight. Wrap in a paper towel and place in the microwave for 1 minute. Flip and heat on other side for 30 seconds. If still frozen, cook for another 30 seconds until warmed all the way through.
    In Oven or Toaster Oven: Thaw in the fridge overnight. Place in the oven at 350 for about 10-15 minutes or until warmed all the way through.
  • If you're enjoying the sandwiches right away, go ahead and heat up in the oven. If you'll be consuming the sandwiches within 5 days, assemble the same way but no need to freeze them.
  • Top with hot sauce if you want an extra kick!

Notes

The nutrition in the recipe is for a sandwich with one serving of canadian bacon as the meat. The nutrition will change if you choose a different meat.
