Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (4-5 cloves), minced
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons ginger minced

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breast in slow cooker.
  • Add honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and vinegar to a small bowl. Mix well.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken breast. Cook on high for 2-3 hours (low 4-5 hours) or until the chicken is cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
  • Take the chicken out of the slow cooker and shred.
  • Add chicken back to the slow cooker. Stir.
  • Top with sesame seeds and green onions.
  • Optional: serve with rice and veggies.
  • Enjoy!
