Here's a roundup of my 2025 favorites, which is a full list of what I'm loving most this year!

January Favorites
It can be dark and dreary in January, but there's some things I incorporated this month to make it fun!

Audiobooks
I've been listening to audiobooks nonstop this month. It's been so helpful to listen while cleaning, driving, and doing easy work tasks. Libby is an awesome resource for free ebooks and audiobooks, which you can access through your local library. Browse my 2025 reading list if you need some ideas!
Saie Glowy Super Gel
I have a very minimal makeup routine and Saie Glowly Super Gel is a new addition this year. This is a lightweight illuminator and makeup primer that makes my skin look so glowy.
Cherry Limemade Greens
I've been starting every morning with Clean Simple Eats Cherry Limemade Greens (code JORDO for a discount). I have been mixing greens with Pink Burst Clear Protein, and it tastes so yummy. My goal is to drink this every morning before coffee!
Getting Ready before the Baby
As a new mom, getting ready before the baby has been saving me! It helps me feel more focused and ready for the day to have myself ready before the baby gets up. Whether it's taking 10 minutes to get ready or an hour to workout too, it gives an awesome start to the day.
Book Club
A group of my girlfriends have a monthly book club and it's one of my favorite things. We take turns hosting and picking the books, and it's such a fun way to not only see my friends, but also stay consistent reading books.
Yasso Chocolate Crunch Bars
I'm a sweet treat girl through and through. As in, I need one every day. One of my favorite ones is the Fudge or Sea Salte Yasso Crunch Bars. They're so yummy and honestly don't taste *healthier* at all.
Crafting
One of my goals for this year is to craft. I am trying to fight this mindset that to make a craft it needs to be perfect and aesthetic, but I want to craft for enjoyment. I made a birthday banner for our family and have a few more I'm saving on Pinterest.
Mabe Baby Carrier
Another new mom tip is to have a baby carrier you LOVE. My baby loves hanging out in the carrier and it's essential for being productive around the house and running errands. And most important, it's one of my favorite ways to bond with my baby.
One of my favorite baby carriers is the Mabe Baby Carrier (code JORDO for a discount).
Winter Walks
The baby and I bundled up for winter hikes and walks this month, and it was so good for our mental health to get outside (when it wasn't too freezing!)
February Favorites
It's the month of love, so of course I'm going to share some of the things I've been loving!

Hey June Jewelry
I've been on the hunt for affordable, everyday earrings that are CUTE and tarnish-free. I found Hey June this year and am obsessed. I've worn 24/7 for a few weeks and they've been awesome! I have a few pair of hoops, some studs, and a necklace. Code JORDO will get you a discount, and I couldn't recommend more!
Sunrise Runs
One of my good friends and I have been running a few mornings a week and it's been SO awesome. I have had a really hard time running on my own, but the accountability of running with a friend is a game changer, even when it's before sunrise. This month we hit a few weeks of 10+ miles of running a week, which is a milestone postpartum!
Barefaced Toning Pads
I've been using these Barefaced Toning Pads for the past two months and am loving them. The toning pads have glycolic acid & salicylic acid, and help with brightening, cleansing, clearing pores, and reducing fine lines and wrinkles. I wanted to level up my nightly skincare routine and this has been a perfect addition.
Thread Leather Wallets
I bought one of these slim leather wallets from an outdoor gear store and used it for 4 years and it's held up amazing! There was recently a 10 year anniversary sale on Thread Wallets and just upgraded for a new cute pattern and wrist landyard.
A Comfy Dark Pair of Jeans
If you're looking for a comfortable, cute, and affordable pairs of jeans, this $30 pair has been my go-to lately. They're extra high-waisted wide-leg jeans from Old Navy and have been my favorite to dress up or down.
Low Effort Parenthood
If you're looking for resources on simple parenting, unrushed childhood, and maintaining personhood through childhood, I have an account recommendation for you! My friend Eliza shares helpful information on substack and Instagram, and I highly recommend following along!
Meal Prep
While I've always loved meal prep, I've really stepped it up this year. I've been making weekly meal plans and meal prep videos, and not only have they been fun to make, but they're also been super beneficial for my family. The free meal plans are always on my website and the videos are on socials!
Saie Tinted Moisturizer
As a work from home mom, one thing I've found really helpful is to get fully ready everyday. A full outfit and light makeup has transformed how I feel about myself, even with the lightest makeup routine. I do glowy super gel, Saie tinted moisturizer (spf 35), blush, and mascara. This moisturizer has light coverage and hasn't given me any breakouts, love!
Fridays at the Ski Resort
A fun fact about me is that I work at a local ski resort every winter! I work a few hours a week and it's a great way to get outside, soak up some vitamin D, and make some extra money. It's a few months of the year and I'm going to keep doing this as long as I can!
March Favorites
Spring is coming and we're loving watching the Earth wake up! Along with a few other things that are improving our lives.

Spring Arriving!
I absolutely LOVE watching the Earth wake up after the winter slumber. The blooming flowers & the sunshine make the outdoors extra welcoming. We've been going on daily walks and having picnics at the park which has been a blast!
St. Louis Sports
We're a BIG sports family. Baseball, soccer, hockey, basketball — we love watching it and following along our favorite local sports teams. It's baseball AND soccer season again and we got to take our daughter to games which is just so much fun. Of course it's logistically complicated with a baby, BUT I think it's so special bringing her along to enjoy the things we enjoy.
Supporting the Library
We LOVE, love the library. We take advantage of so many resources like borrowing books, going to storytime, using the workspace and printers, and much more. Because we love the library, we're really trying to be better supporters. I've been calling my representatives about funding, sharing about our positive experience, and finding volunteer opportunities.
5 Calls App
One resource that's been really helpful is the 5 Calls app. One of the easiest and most effective ways for US constituents to make a political impact is to call your congressperson. This app helps you find legislators and reach about what is important to you. I've been trying to call once a week!
Aerie Pajamas
Aerie makes "real soft" pajama pants and they're the most cozy, comfortable (and affordable!!) pajamas. I have a matching set of the shorts/short sleeves and pants/long sleeves, there are SO many color and pattern options. I bought a pair of these for postpartum (amazing decision) and just got a new set this month. Trust me, these are IT.

Recipe Testing
I had a really good month of recipe testing and am excited to get these new recipes on the website asap 🙂 When I recipe test, sometimes it goes amazing and the first bite of recipe is like "YES, THIS IS PERFECT, I COULD EAT THIS ENTIRE PAN" but then other times I cook something and it's just meh (but we eat it if it's edible because we will not be wasting over here!) Luckily this month, I had much more of the first situation!
Date Days
On Al's spring break this month we got to take a trip to Colorado! We used our ski passes (perks of me working at the local ski resort) and spend a few days skiing, hanging out with our good friends, and enjoying Colorado. I also took a course while I was there for some continuing education. BUT the most fun thing was getting to have a date day! Our friends babysat Goldie so Al & I got to spend the day skiing, eating, and exploring Crested Butte — it was a blast.
Reusable Period Care (Saalt)
If you've never heard me talk about Saalt, let me tell you about Saalt!!! Saalt is a brand that makes reusable period care — we're talking cups, discs, underwear, and all the accessories. I can confidently tell you that using a period cup CHANGED MY LIFE. It's so much more convenient, more comfortable, and more affordable that tampons. You only have to mess with a cup (or disc) twice a day, making it so convenient. I love using the period underwear too. Trust me, it may take a month or two to adjust to the learning curve, but it's worth it. Check out Saalt & use code JORDO for a discount.
