Hey! I heard you wanted a Low-Carb Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole. Well, good news:

Chicken bacon ranch casserole
Plenty of trios are worthy of praise. Earth, Wind & Fire, perhaps, or the Jonas Brothers. What about Chicken, Bacon & Ranch?
This Low-Carb Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole will bring these three starring ingredients to the front of your mind next time someone asks you to “Name a better trio.” I’ll wait.
Low-carb chicken bacon ranch casserole
While it’s not perfectly easy to define what “low-carb” means in any given context, but for a pasta dish, 22g/serving (along with 46g of protein!) seems to work pretty well in a carb-conscious nutrition plan.

Chicken bacon ranch casserole ingredients
Where many chicken bacon ranch dishes come along with a substantial fat count due to bacon, butter, and ranch, this casserole elegantly dodges those concerns thanks to the combination of greek yogurt and almond milk. I promise it doesn’t leave any flavor behind!
Here’s the ingredient breakdown:
- Banza Penne Pasta
- shredded chicken
- plain greek yogurt
- ranch seasoning mix
- unsweetened almond milk
- low fat mozzarella cheese
- bacon
- Optional: chopped green onions & hot sauce
Substitution ideas
- any kind of pasta
- your preferred milk
- any kind of cheese
- extra bacon, cheese, or ranch!

How to make chicken bacon ranch casserole
This recipe is EASY. Here's what you have to do:
- Prepare all ingredients by separately cooking the pasta, chicken, and bacon.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 9 x 13 casserole dish with cooking spray and set aside.
- Combine the greek yogurt, almond milk, ranch seasoning, half of the bacon, and half of the cheese in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Add the cooked pasta and shredded chicken to the sauce mixture. Stir until chicken and pasta are coated completely.
- Pour the pasta mixture into the casserole dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and bacon evenly across the top of the casserole.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Top with green onions, hot sauce, and enjoy!
- To portion, divide into 6ths; for a more exact portion measurement, divide total food weight (not including dish) by 6
How to store casserole
This casserole keeps well in the fridge; I’ve kept it in Tupperware containers and even in the original pan, covered with tin foil.
How to reheat casserole
Either the microwave or the oven will get this dish hot and ready for you to enjoy all over again.

What goes with chicken bacon and ranch casserole?
This is a pretty substantial meal in itself, but it can also sit nicely on a plate with some fresh vegetables or a salad and not be out of place.
Is chicken bacon ranch casserole healthy?
I always find myself addressing this question in the same way: it depends on what you mean! For me, this chicken bacon ranch casserole absolutely fits well within a healthy nutrition plan, which is especially great considering the “comfort food” nature of this meal.

So good! So easy! Totally recommend. I halved the pasta and added broccoli to get some veggies in and it was great but would’ve been delish as is too.
Megan says
Love how easily this meal comes together but is so tasty! I'm going to precook, shred, and freeze some chicken to make it even faster to throw together. Ours continually needs more sauce than the recipe suggests, because the pasta soaks it up pretty quickly, so that's my only critique -- and I'm not mad about more sauce LOL.

This one was husband approved for me, so that is a win!
