What are the ingredients in a star crunch?

You only need 5 ingredients!

  • crispy rice cereal 
  • dark chocolate chips 
  • coconut oil 
  • caramel bits 
  • milk

How to make homemade star crunch bars

  • Place a piece of parchment paper in a 9 x 9 baking dish. Set aside.
  • Add the crispy rice cereal to a large mixing bowl.
  • In a separate microwave-safe bowl, add the caramel bits and milk. Place in the microwave for 3 minutes, until caramel bits are melted. Stir until mixture reaches a smooth consistency.
  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, add the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Place in the microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until completely melted.
  • Pour the melted chocolate and caramel into the bowl over the crispy rice cereal. Stir gently until the cereal is completely coated.
  • Pour the coated crispy rice mixture into the pan with parchment paper.
  • Place in the freezer for 30 minutes. Cut into pieces & enjoy!

What type of milk do you use, 2%, whole, skim? Thank you

You can use any kind of milk! I used almond for the recipe because that's what I had in the fridge :)
