While the first ever Jordo's World blog post (no longer in existence) went up back in 2016, 2021 feels like the first real year for the blog.

Why? Because 2021 was the year I gave myself permission to really try.

In 2020, the year before, I made an investment into my blog and gave myself a year to see if it would work out for me. In 2021, I realized that it did work. The investment I made had paid off, and I began to see that this could really be something.

My experience over that year was enough to make me decide that I wanted to go all in. Toward the end of 2021, I decided to take the blog full time.

So far, it's worked out far better than I could have ever anticipated, and I owe a big thanks to you.

You're visiting my website, letting me into your homes (and kitchens), sharing this website with your friends, and giving me a chance to do what I love. I cannot wait for 2022 and all that it has in store for us.
